The Challenge:
The client is a very successful facilities services business that wanted more all round professionalism across the business so that it could move up to the next level. The directors identified the need for a business strategy to help provide direction and priorities to secure future profitable growth.

The programme involved a full strategic review of existing clients, future target markets, the competitors, the service offered, the opportunities, the operational activities and processes, the staffing and management, the financials etc. The project was successfully completed with the completion of a new business strategy document and implementation plan, which was communicated at a mangers event.

A strategic review, including customer survey has assisted the directors to see the business in an entirely different light. The business has successfully recruited a new management team with professional skills and experiences. New processes and practices were introduced across the business. The Challenge:
This start–up organisation was looking to exploit the opportunities in 3G mobile phone services. The business required significant funding to develop prototype demonstrations of mobile content services and win contracts. It needed to look attractive to investors – the right strategy, the right team, the right story.

Advancing Business Solution:
Working with the Managing Director and Chairman a programme was implemented to articulate the investment story, define the business plan and build the business infrastructure. Jointly we developed the initial business plan to articulate the early start up direction and business model for attracting new investors and management to this emerging mobile content technology company. The programme also involved working with the directors and management team to develop the early customer proposition and contract the initial software product development.

Clients Outcome:
The directors set up investor presentations, outlined the opportunity and company position and the business raised over £4m funding in 12 months from private investors and listed on the AIM London Stock Exchange. The business has now secured several software development projects to build its mobile content platform.
